The main intake is autumn (September). Applications usually open October to December and close February to April (a few run to May). Aim to submit 6 to 9 months before you want to arrive.

University-postgraduate and Excellence CSC nominations.

Bilateral CSC via your home-country Chinese embassy (the largest window).

Most degree-program deadlines.
Apr to Jul
Provincial and university scholarships; admission notices sent.
Jul to Aug
Visa (X1/X2) and pre-departure.
